I earned my Master's in Social Work in 2004. I work with individuals and couples. Some of the topics I help people with include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and major life transitions. My preferred therapeutic approaches include narrative (deconstructing the negative stories we hold about ourselves and our lives), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and mindfulness.
Anxiety, stress and conflict are part of being human, and some experiences and transitions can be overwhelming. Therapy can help to increase understanding, acceptance and compassion for yourself and discover strategies to manage emotions, decrease stress and increase inner peace. In-person Saturdays in Guelph, and virtual appointments are available.
