I support clients in areas such as caregiver burnout, adjustment to diagnosis, complex grief, and nervous system regulation. Many of my clients are parents or professionals who are highly capable, compassionate, and resilient—but also running on empty. They often come to therapy after realizing they’ve spent so much time supporting others, they’ve lost sight of their own needs.
With a background in science and clinical experience at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, I specialize in working with parents and caregivers navigating the emotional landscape that comes with caring for a child with complex needs. I help people understand what's happening in their nervous system and how chronic stress affects your ability to cope.
My approach integrates cognitive behavioural, relational, and somatic strategies to provide an understanding of how trauma and stress live in the body. In our work together, I provide tools and perspective to help you move from overwhelm to ease. We explore how your body has adapted to survive what you've been through and to rewire those patterns and heal.
