I am a Venezuelan-Canadian queer woman of colour with lived experience of migration and I offer services in Spanish and English. I work from an evolving feminist, anti-oppression, sex-positive and poly-affirming framework. Gently and bravely understanding and unpacking the impacts of systemic and colonial structures on the constructs of identity and mental health is crucial for the work we will do together.   Creativity, curiosity and compassionate care are at the core of my practice. When journeying through difficult experiences, art becomes a powerful friend for the courageous path of healing and transformation.

I support people to find movement where they feel stuck. I support people to connect with, and develop, their own skills and wisdom. As an Expressive Arts Therapist and Registered Social Worker (RSW) with over 10 years of experience. I am passionate about using creativity in service of healing. I offer counselling/therapy and Expressive Arts Therapy for individuals and couples. I currently work with youth (16+)* and adults. Celina is a neurodivergent queer Expressive Arts Therapist with a focus on somatic, earthbased and relational modalities. Their work is client centred and grounded in trauma-informed approaches to healing as an artform. Human nervous systems are wired entirely towards connection, belonging and coregulation, like all beings that exist upon this earth. In times of struggle, we reach out towards others. Yet many of us have learned that vulnerability is dangerous, and have developed coping mechanisms that protect us from connection. The therapeutic relationship is a safe enough space to begin identifying, shifting & reshaping our lives.

I have experience with youth and adults navigating struggles with self-esteem, depression, early childhood or other trauma, disordered eating, relationship issues, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, gender & sexuality inquiry, and existential anxiety.
