I am a Registered Social Worker in Newfoundland and Labrador and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario, currently accepting new clients under clinical supervision of Alivera Psychotherapy.
For the past decade, I have supported adults across Labrador who have experienced trauma, including physical and emotional abuse, intergenerational trauma, intimate partner violence, and substance misuse. My work is rooted in compassion, safety, and collaboration, with a focus on empowering individuals to regain a sense of control and move towards healing.
I believe clients are the experts in their own lives. I work from a strength-based and trauma-informed perspective, focusing on creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support and honour the courage it takes to take that first step toward change and healing.
