I am a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience as a Nationally Certified Counsellor, Mental Health Clinician, and Registered Art Therapist, specializing in working with children, youth, and families. I am also a member of the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors, the American Art Therapy Association, and I hold a B.C. teaching certificate. My approach to therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed, creating a compassionate, non-judgmental, and inclusive atmosphere where individuals and families can explore their challenges and experiences.
One of the unique aspects of my practice is my dedication to Art Therapy, a counselling modality that is accessible to anyone regardless of their art experience or abilities. I utilize art media and techniques to help individuals address a variety of personal issues, encompassing emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
In addition, I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches that address such mental health issues as anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am committed to providing a safe and nurturing space for you to express yourself creatively and therapeutically. All are welcome. I look forward to hearing from you.
