depression. I also have extensive experience working with clients who have ADHD. Together, we can explore your past to gain a deeper self-understanding; exploring the root causes of what you're dealing with. Balancing exploration/processing and practical skills, I can help you make connections between how certain life experiences and early relationships have impacted your functioning now; healing your inner child, and learning how to cope with emotions such as (but not limited to) sadness, anxiety, and shame.
My therapy style is direct, warm, personable, empathetic & non-judgmental. Sessions are casual & conversational. Clients tell me that they find me easy to talk to. I operate from a Psychodynamic, Relational, ExRP, Attachment-Based, Inner Child Work, & Emotionally Focused approaches. I also integrate principles from CBT & DBT. I am LGBTQ+ Affirming.
