Sometimes life can have us feeling bogged down in the same negative patterns, feeling blocked or disconnected from our own sense of contentment, strength and joy. I see therapy as a place to uncover the roots of what is feeding our present concerns and to heal these roots in order to make positive lasting changes.
I am a Clinical Social Worker, registered with the OCSWSSW. I have 11 years of clinical experience helping adults who have experienced anxiety, depression, grief and loss, domestic and family violence, trauma and addiction. I have post graduate training in EMDR, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method Therapy, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.
As an experienced client myself, I understand the courage it takes to show up and be vulnerable and open to create the changes that life demands of us. I appreciate that trust takes time and so I prioritize my clients' needs and goals and check in often to ensure safety, comfort and progress.
