I have experience with a variety of client challenges including anxiety, addiction, complex trauma, depression, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, grief, etc. I have a strong interest in Interpersonal Neurobiology (the brain’s ability to rewire itself when offered corrective emotional experiences) and Sensorimotor Therapy, which rests under the assumption that trauma or attachment disruption is stored in the body. In addition, I have recently started using EMDR in my therapeutic practice with children and adults.
I draw on several therapeutic frameworks including emotion-focused, attachment, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. In my work with children, I use a combination of cognitive-behavioural and narrative therapy while drawing on creative interventions including play in therapy.
