I am a Registered Social Worker with 10 years experience in the mental health and addiction field. I have assisted folks with concerns around depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, relationship problems, and more. I work from an anti-oppressive framework and am passionate about decolonizing therapy and promoting anti-racism in the workplace.
It’s hard for me to describe my approach to counselling, because I try to tailor it to your specific needs, personality, and story. However, I draw on techniques derived from psychodynamic, CBT and DBT therapies. Also, as someone who used to do stand-up comedy, I know that laughter can be one of the best medicines.
