Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile. I believe therapy should feel like it's done with you, not to you. I specialize in supporting children to regulate emotions and increase positive behaviour. Working with parents, I will help you to build upon your confidence and capacity to support your children through times of distress. I can help to build and repairing bridges with in your family to increase connections and positive interactions with each other. I am experienced in supporting a variety of needs and challenges such as emotional dysregulation, anxiety, ADHD, Selective Mutism and OCD.
I am practiced in child centered approaches including play based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment, family and humanistic therapies and have experience in reflective family play therapy and trauma informed practices. I have special interest in supporting new moms and supporting them in navigating the beginning of their parenting journey.
My goal is to build upon strengths and family cohesion with compassion and optimism. I truly love what I do and look forward to supporting you and your child through a path of growth to improve mental wellness while building parent capacity and strengthening relationships along the way!
