I bring experience working with diverse populations from the Calgary Counselling Centre, Carya (formerly Calgary Family Services), Distress Centre, and Society for Treatment of Autism. As I believe the best indicator of counselling success is the relationship between the client and their counsellor, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment by utilizing an empathetic and compassionate approach.
Although the primary framework will depend on your specific and individual needs, I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural and Solution Focused Therapy approaches. For couples, I work with a Gottman-based approach, and for families, I work with a Family Systems approach.
For all new clients, I am happy to offer you a free 15-minute consult. As a Registered Psychologist, I am covered by most benefits plans but also offer a sliding scale for those in need.
