Is your child or teen feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or not quite like themselves anymore? Or maybe you notice their self-esteem isn't what it used to be, or you hear them speaking in constant cycles of "what ifs", and second-guessing themselves, even around things that once felt manageable.
I'm a Registered Psychologist and with over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and their parents, including some of the largest hospitals in Canada. I use science-backed therapies that are proven to work (CBT, DBT-informed, and SPACE) and deliver them with warmth, approachability, and authenticity.
My style in sessions is warm, nonjudgemental, and approachable. I work closely with each child and teen and tailor care in a way that feels customized, meaningful, and practical. Central to my approach is the belief that children, teens, and their parents first and foremost need to feel safe, accepted, and understood in order to begin the process of change.
