Dr. Scallion's therapeutic approach is a collaborative process grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy that incorporates dialectical behavioral, mindfulness-based, and solution focused approaches. She has expertise in treating insomnia using CBT for Insomnia and in treating PTSD using Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
Dr. Scallion takes a genuine, and gentle yet direct approach to treatment. She thoroughly enjoys helping people improve their mental health and well-being. And, believes that important work can be done while also having a laugh. She is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
