Are you struggling with your mood, anxiety or other personal or life problems? I have specialized training and experience in CBT and IPT. I have experience treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, grief, relationship conflicts and other interpersonal problems.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on the connections between our feelings, thoughts and behaviours. CBT teaches strategies to better cope with life challenges. Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) concentrates on one of four common problem areas: role transitions, interpersonal disputes, grief and interpersonal deficits.

I am actively involved in teaching, training and supervising healthcare professionals at McMaster University. I hold a BSc (Psychology), a BSW, MSW and a PhD (Social Work). I am a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW, a Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO and a certified CBT therapist with the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies.
