Are you stuck in dysfunctional and self-sabotaging patterns? Do you have high expectations for yourself that you can never satisfy? I believe that self-understanding, the awareness of and ability to understand one’s actions and reactions, is important for personal transformation. Using a gentle, introspective approach, I provide clients with the space to be curious about their past and current experiences. I believe personal transformation can happen to everyone at any age.
My approach to therapy is eclectic which allows me to meet the unique needs and experiences of my clients. My primary practice uses an attachment-based psychodynamic approach which involves exploring early childhood learning and experiences, and their impact on adult behavioural patterns and defences.
I value my clients, their self-knowledge, and their unique experiences. My areas of specialization include individuals struggling with perfectionism and control, toxic shame, and developmental trauma.
