Many people initiate therapy when something big is going on in their life – mental health symptoms, life changes, a traumatic experience or loss. But you don’t have to wait until life feels overwhelming to seek support. I welcome it all into my practice - no concern is too big or too small. I specialize in supporting adults (18+) in healing from trauma, depression and anxiety. I also support people navigating the perinatal period (including perinatal mental health issues), perfectionism, people pleasing, and those that identify as highly sensitive people.
In an effort to provide the most effective therapy possible, I have completed post-graduate certificates in evidence-based therapies such as Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and perinatal mental health.
My clients have described my therapeutic style as warm and empathetic, a soft place to land during a hard time, and an easy, down to earth conversation.
