I am certified in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for treating OCD in adults and children. I also specialize in the psychotherapeutic treatment of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders using CBT and DBT. As a mother, I can empathize with the challenges families go through. I value a team approach to best support the needs of each client while maintaining appropriate confidentiality. I utilize evidence-based interventions and strive to create a safe, non-judgemental, and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients and their families.
As a former teacher and certified special education specialist, I provide support for identified learners by focusing on self-advocacy skills and self-esteem. I also provide consultations for families looking for support with their child’s new learning diagnosis and provide accommodation recommendations for Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
I have seen first hand how successful young people can be through this work, which is why I strongly believe in the value of receiving mental health support at an early age.
