Hello and welcome here. I appreciate your willingness to let me walk alongside you in your journey towards mental wellness, whatever that means to you, as you are the expert of your life. Every human in this world desires to be loved and understood. Through my own journey with therapy, I have come to understand how valuable it can be to have an alternative perspective – to have someone show curiosity and to shine a light on things we may not see. I also understand it can be incredibly difficult to reach out for emotional support and share our inner experiences with others, particularly when we have been taught to hide our pain.
There are many ways we lose touch with our authentic selves: to disconnect from painful emotions and experiences, to keep others comfortable, or perhaps we just get stuck on autopilot in this increasingly fast-paced, technology-driven, chaotic world. It is becoming harder and harder for us to slow down, reflect, and integrate what is going on around us.
I can offer you a nonjudgmental, compassionate and safe space to explore the parts of you that have been hurt, neglected, or silenced, and help you to discover your inner strengths so that you may become the best version of your authentic self! Finding the right therapist takes time. If you feel we may be a good fit, I look forward to hearing from you!
