I am currently accepting new clients and provide both virtual and in-person options. While Grief is a particular focus for my practice, I offer a wide range of therapeutic supports for challenges including Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, BPD and more. My philosophy is rooted in the understanding that life includes struggle and discovering ways to heal, grow and thrive amid these challenges is essential. I believe in a strengths-based, values-based approach that includes a focus on self-compassion, exploration, reflection and skill building. Together, we can build strategies for coping, healing and recovery.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and have been in practice for over 13 years. I have completed many additional trainings, including a certification from Wilfrid Laurier University in Grief and Grief therapy, Trauma work and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, couples, families and groups.
As grief is simultaneously a universal and unique experience. It affects each of us differently. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space in which you can share your loss and begin to explore and understand your grief. In our work together, you will gain tools to manage the pain of your loss and find ways to carry your loved one forward in your life.
