Sometimes they know what they need to do, but they don't seem to be able to do it.
My approach centres around self awareness, emotion regulation skills (EFT/EFFT), healthy relationships and attachment, parts work (IFS-informed), and somatics. I look at mental health from both an individual perspective (what you can do to help yourself) and a systemic perspective (how family, community, and societal dynamics affect individual well-being).
I take particular pride in welcoming clients who are nervous about therapy, those who have had trouble finding the right therapist, and people seeking therapy that is both affirming of their lived experiences and helpful in making changes.
