Are you looking for a therapist who will celebrate you for you as you explore connecting to your truths and healing? Would you like to feel seen, have your voice heard, and get active support when going through a life transition? I offer a kind and gentle approach to address the impacts of trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex stressors. As a therapist who is black, trans, and queer, I bring my whole authentic self to create a safer container for the therapist and client relationship. Together we can process trauma or complex situations, and develop tools for advocating and supporting you.
My therapeutic approach is exploratory, relational, and client-centered. During our time together we can use various methods like talk, body awareness, and art to engage in therapy - whatever suits you best. I am trained in several modalities, and lean into anti-oppressive psychotherapy, attachment-based family therapy, play, and trauma-informed approaches.
I am now accepting new clients. I work with children, teens, and adults. Contact me if you need someone to help make sense of your emotions, attend to the wounds of relational and/or systemic harm, or explore the identities of your authentic self. I am happy to listen, support, and hold space for your pain, healing and all the feelings in between.
