Welcome. If you’re here, something in your life may feel heavy, confusing, or simply harder than it should be. You might find yourself overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, struggling in relationships, or trying to hold everything together while quietly carrying stress, sadness, or self-doubt. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who have been managing a lot on their own for a long time, including navigating anxiety, depression, grief, past trauma, relationship difficulties, or the many pressures that come with parenting and family life.

Are you somebody who wants to be more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and relationships? It can feel so exhausting stuck between the person you are and the person you want to be. Through my own experiences in therapy, I learned to take agency over the unhealthy tendencies in my mind. That journey inspired me to offer that same support to others. As a Pre-Licensed Professional and MA in Counseling Psychology student under clinical supervision, I support clients in understanding their mind, body, and social environment – so they can feel grounded, optimistic, and more like themselves again.

Many neurodivergent, ADHD, autistic, gifted, or 2e adults live in the tension between who they are and who they learned they had to be. You may find yourself monitoring every interaction, carrying old criticisms, or pushing yourself past exhaustion. This inner push-pull can leave you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to show up as your real self, especially when it feels like everyone else was truly handed instructions you never received. At Becoming Yourself Counselling, I offer a safe, grounded space to explore these inner conflicts, understand your patterns, and gently move toward a more authentic way of being

I also have experience working with refugees, providing support to those who have faced trauma, displacement, and the complexities of rebuilding their lives. You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted, even when it looks like you are managing on the outside. Maybe you're carrying a lot, struggling to rest without guilt, or noticing old patterns in your relationships and sense of self. I work with young adults navigating anxiety, burnout, and the lasting impact of early experiences and trauma. Many of my clients are capable and self-aware, yet feel stuck in people-pleasing, self-doubt, or a feeling like they have to do more to be enough. Therapy is a space to slow down, understand what is underneath, and begin responding to yourself with more care and clarity.
