I understand that asking for support can be a challenging, yet a brave first step. It isn’t easy to have the courage to say that you need support and I welcome you here. I bring to you experience working in a variety of fields, from mental health, addictions, social relationships, and palliative care. In my sessions, I work from a trauma informed, anti-oppressive analysis, appreciating that trauma can be the basis of many challenges individuals may face. My practice is structured with a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational and solution focused interventions.

You’re constantly needed. You’re juggling everything. And somehow, you’re still the one holding it all together. But inside? You feel anxious, touched out, overstimulated… and like you’re one small thing away from snapping. You might notice: you’re more irritable than you want to be, you feel mentally exhausted, even after “resting”, you can’t shut your brain off, you’re carrying the invisible load of everyone else’s needs, you feel guilty for needing space… but also desperate for it. This isn’t a personal failure. This is what happens when your nervous system has been running in survival mode for too long.

Starting therapy is a courageous step. It’s not always easy to reach out—but doing so signals that you’re ready for something to shift, to care for yourself in a deeper, more intentional, more meaningful way. You might be going through a life change, facing a crisis, struggling in your relationships, or feeling disconnected—from yourself, others, or the life you thought you’d be living. Maybe you’re feeling uneasy in your own skin, unsure of where life is heading, or simply longing for something to feel different. Whatever you're carrying, therapy offers a space to explore it—with support, curiosity, and care.

I look forward to speaking with you about your specific interests and concerns. After our initial meeting, we will have a clearer understanding of your expectations and hopes for this work. At that time, we can develop a plan to help you work toward meeting identified goals for service. Many people find it useful to attend a few sessions and then to put what has been learned into practice in everyday life - they often return for ‘tune-ups’ over the years. Others prefer to attend sessions on a more regular basis over a longer period of time. Whatever service you choose, it will be custom designed to fit your goals and preferences.

Welcoming New Clients - I help clients take back their mental and emotional power and shift from surviving to thriving in life. When the voice inside says, "What if everything goes wrong?", please consider, "What if it all were to go right?..." We must believe it's possible for something different to happen. Investing in our emotional and mental health helps us live life to the fullest. Just because pain points are old doesn't mean they're permanent. Sometimes it takes the fear of staying the same to motivate us to take the risk and rise to who we're meant to be. It's never too late to change the path you're on.

Has life been feeling heavy or uncertain lately? Do you need a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself? You may be navigating a transition, loss, cultural adjustment, or challenges in your career or relationships. Over time, these experiences can lead to anxiety, emotional exhaustion, low self-esteem, or a sense of feeling stuck. If you are here considering support, that already reflects strength and self-awareness. Having experienced immigration, life and career transitions myself, I bring empathy and a deep respect for your needs and story. Therapy is a personal journey, and we will walk it together.

Something in you knows it’s time to heal, but part of you may still feel unsure, overwhelmed, or stuck in old patterns. Maybe trauma or attachment wounds from the past are showing up in your relationships, emotional reactions, or sense of self. You want more than surface-level support - you want lasting change. I work with thoughtful clients who are ready to go deeper. Using Internal Family Systems and EMDR, I help you figure out what’s been holding you back so you can live with more clarity, peace, and self-trust.
