As an experienced and registered therapist, I provide counselling services to individuals experiencing emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, interpersonal conflict and difficulties related to sexual and domestic abuse and violence. I have been working with individuals and families for over 13 years in a variety of settings including schools and mental heath agencies.
In my work with clients I offer gentle assistance in exploring what is working and what is deterring them from where they would like to be. In doing this, opportunities are created to explore healthy ways to cope, obtain better understanding of the situation(s), and be better able to relate and communicate with others.
I believe that one of the most important components for therapeutic change is that trust exists between the client and therapist.
