I am glad you made it here. Maybe you want to work on experiencing your emotions with greater ease, navigating sex and relationships, making peace with painful history or just have someone listen to what you say. Therapy can offer a chance to notice patterns, move towards acceptance, create change or just check in with yourself. I take a non-pathologizing approach to struggles and see them as a painful but common part of the human experience. I often work using trauma and attachment informed emotion focused therapy that also uses a relational, intersectional feminist and systemic lens. Together we can work to make sense of things.
My approach is honest and curious but also warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I recognize and honor there are many paths to a meaningful life. It is my hope to build a connection that feels safe, supportive and respectful as a foundation for our work together. Working with me will be a collaborative effort that centres what matters to you.
I strive to offer therapy that is anti-racist, anti-ableist, class conscious, body neutral and affirming to all sexualities and gender identities. I am sex positive and sex worker positive. I honour and respect the diverse ways people connect, love and have sex, so my work is affirming to individuals engaging in consensual non-monogamy and kink.
