About
Life can present challenges for all of us. Most people will experience some form of depression or anxiety at some point in their life. The support of an empathetic, non-judgmental counsellor can help us to create a plan to move forward when we feel ‘stuck’. If you are experiencing sadness, stress, or worry, I can provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to identify the goals that are most important to you, and support you in reaching those goals.
As a Registered Social Worker I specialize in providing supportive counseling to children, youth and adults. I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and stress related to work, relationships, and self-esteem. I've received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Unified Protocol, and Triple P 'positive parenting' program
My approach to helping clients is to normalize mental health challenges as something experienced by most people. I use evidence based approaches to help clients overcome these challenges and believe that with the right support clients can develop a plan for a happy and fulfilling life.
