Kyla’s counselling approach with youth (12+) and adults is energetic, innovative, and imaginative, grounded in mindfulness, somatic, and trauma-informed techniques. Also integrating aspects of cognitive behavioural and solution-focused therapies, Kyla’s approach allows her to work with clients on a deep, person-centred level to address challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships.
Trained in EMDR, Kyla can help clients process and heal from past traumas in a safe and supportive environment. Kyla works across the lifespan, including youth (12 and up), adolescents, and adults. Kyla is accepted under most benefit programs and is a Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) approved therapist.
