About
It is important as women and mothers we take the steps to care for ourselves, as we are being pulled in many directions throughout the day. As a parent, I was young, unprepared, and unsupported in challenges that I faced. This has led to my interest in supporting women and parents in their journey. I strive to empower all women to recognize the expectations that society places are not all attainable. You cannot be all of the things, all of the time, and it is okay to slow down and take care of you. I also specialize in working with teens and young adults who are struggling with pieces in life and transitioning to adulthood.
I work from a client-centered approach and take direction from the client in what they want from a session. I also utilize a few therapeutic models in session, depending on what the focus is and what best suits the client. I have worked with teens and adults experiencing challenges in areas of relationships, stress, trauma, grief, and emotional regulation.
Are you or your teen ready to feel more equipped navigating the challenges in your world? Do you want to take the next steps in gaining a better understanding of yourself and squash some of the unrealistic expectations you have placed on yourself? I invite you to reach out for a free phone consultation to know if I am a fit for you or your family.
