Do you continue to repeat the same patterns and reactions, wondering why you can't get them under control? Do you find it difficult to regulate your emotions? Maybe you have negative thoughts that don't allow you to live the life you want to? Feeling anxious and always assuming the worst in life and relationships? Or maybe you can't seem to shake that low mood. If you're feeling stuck in unhealthy ways and hoping to change negative patterns, gain clarity on your thoughts and behaviours, or wanting to process trauma, we can work together using evidence-based approaches to help you make those positive changes in your life.
As a therapist, I utilize both cognitive and somatic therapies to work with your mind, body and nervous system. I work from a holistic, strength-based, trauma and culturally informed lens, and respect the uniqueness you bring. Therapy is not a "one size fits all". Together, we can find an approach that serves you best and get to the root of your problems.
Life is full of constant challenges that can be too much for us to cope with by ourselves. I understand that reaching out for help can feel intimidating and vulnerable. It takes courage to acknowledge you can't do it alone. I offer a safe space for you to explore the struggles you have been facing, working together to get you to where you want to be.
