"Seeking positive change? it's all in the process." I am Kristina and I have over a decade of experience working with diverse individuals, children/youth and families who have experienced trauma, anxious feelings, family and relationship conflict, bullying, crisis, life transitions and the daily stress of life. I support individuals through depression, various forms of anxiety in a client-centered approach. Sessions are not just talk therapy but a holistic service wherein supporting goals such as coping strategies, moving you forward, living a balanced life and resilience are the focus to empower positive change.
I utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities and techniques including CBT, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems and Attachment Theory to guide my practice. I provide a safe space where clients feel comfortable sharing and believe in supporting clients at an individual level as opposed to a one model fits all approach.
I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Counselling and am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
