I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree, Clinical Specialization. I am a Registered Collaborative Professional, working with families through separation as a Divorce Coach or Family Specialist. I provide individual counselling for adults and youth through issues of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, domestic violence, parenting, supporting a loved one with substance abuse or disabilities, self-esteem, and peer/relationship issues. I have many years of experience working with children and families through traumatic and crisis-related issues such as substance abuse, IPV, mental health, and social issues.

I primarily focus on finding solutions to the issues that brought the individual into counselling while also looking at the positive things already occurring in their life. I subscribe to the viewpoint that the self and the environment are interconnected, thus take a wholistic and client-centered approach to therapy.

I believe in entering each therapeutic relationship in an open and respectfully manner, and ready to join in the therapeutic process. I am accepting clients for Thursday evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays. I also offer a sliding scale to ensure counselling is more affordable. Benefit plans generally cover Masters-level Social Work practitioners.
