Anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses do not need to run or ruin your life, your relationship or the life of the children you care for every day. With specific training in anxiety, trauma and PTSD, parenting, play therapy and couple's counselling I invite you to contact me for an in-person (health permitting) or online session. We can work together to develop confidence, self-esteem, peace, growth and meaning during this time. I work online and/or in person with children, teens and adults, couples, parents and families.
I use somatic experiencing, EMDR, emotion-focused therapy, and play therapy in working with individuals. In my work with parents I use (and am trained in) an attachment perspective often using CPRT, Plan B Parenting, and Circle of Security. I have Level 2 training in Gottman Couple's Method to strengthen relationships and get "beneath" the perpetual issues.
I believe that in working with thoughts and emotions present in "the office" we can work on how you think and process in order to break old patterns. In a safe place where you can be fully authentic I will help you to understand and accept who you are now. Together we can embark on a journey of change and discovery that will help you to reach your goals.
