I am a clinical psychologist. I work with teens, adults (civilians and veterans) who have experienced trauma and highly stressful life events. I have significant experience working with people who have experienced sexual violence, interpersonal trauma, traumatic invalidation, healthcare-related traumas and military sexual trauma. I have significant experience working with veterans. Largely, I work from a DBT framework, teaching clients skills to change emotions, thoughts and behaviours, while at the same time helping clients accept and process life circumstances that they cannot change. I am a DBT-Linehan Board Certified Clinician.
I want to help people have long-lasting change in therapy that does not take years and years to attain. This is why I provide evidence-based trauma therapies that I have intensive training and experience delivering: Comprehensive DBT (Stages 1-3 and DBT skills group), Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure therapy.
