My name is Alysia (Kristen Alysia Duemler / Alysia Tenenboim) and my practice is a safe space for you to explore challenges you’ve been facing in your life or within yourself in collaboration with me, a psychotherapist and Registered Clinical Counsellor through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors as of 2025. I'm Jewish with a focus on individual clients, Jewish issues, kids, teens and young adults ages 10-25, However, I am open to families, couples, and all ages and backgrounds. As a teen, a counselor changed my life, so I'm paying it forward. I'm here to support and serve you within realistic expectations.
I combine empathy, Adlerian Therapy (Individual Psychology), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), mindfulness and meditation according to your comfort and needs. I can help you gain skills and resilience according to your goals, especially if you are motivated. I work by video or phone M-Th 10:30am-8pm and Fri 10:30-4:30.
