My individualized process is guided by your needs, wants, beliefs, and values. I use many approaches to support you: active listening, empathy, targeted psychological and social interventions, thought exercises, and goal setting. I help you understand how changing can improve your quality of life and how to take those difficult steps towards self-improvement. Our relationship will be based on mutual respect, empathy, professionalism, respect for diversity, and a focus on your rights to confidentiality and autonomy. I help with couples counselling, child, youth & family issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, and men's issues.
I believe counselling can help you by developing connection and understanding. My goal is not to provide answers but to listen to you and support you in finding your own solutions. I offer evidence-based Gottman method couples therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, and collaborative problem solving.
Please reach out if you need some help. If you are feeling strong emotions and need a listening ear I'm here to provide a non-judgmental space to let it all out.
