I studied at the University of Western Ontario, hold a dual bachelor’s degree in Biology and Medical Sciences (BSc), and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. I have specific training in emotion focused, experiential and cognitive approaches to therapy, and with couples counselling.
My personal favourites and what I find to be the most useful are Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. That said, every indidivual has different preferences for learning theory and about themselves. I’ll ask that you have an open heart and mind in the therapy room - and we can implement and use the tools that most suit you
