About
Hope is looking forward with both confidence and unsuredness to something good. When we hope, we anticipate that what we want to happen can indeed happen. I want to walk in hope with you that the future can somehow be better, no matter what its present condition. I use an integrative approach rooted in narrative therapy, emotion focused family therapy, solution focused therapy and attachment theory to find new meaning and change for my clients.
I am an experienced marriage and family therapist since 2000 and joined the College of Alberta psychologists in 2012. I enjoy working with issues of relationship, including exploring what makes a healthy relationship and moving out of unhealthy or abusive patterns so they don't turn up in present or future relationships again.
I follow a holistic, evidence based approach for adults, adolescents, couples and families with a wide range of concerns such as: self esteem, boundaries, life transitions, crafting the healthy divorce, parent child relationships, personal development, creating a healthy relationship, thriving after abuse, communication, emotion managementand building resiliency.
