Hello. I have been a Counsellor for 25 years - 12 years of which I spent working as a Psychologist for the BC Government. I have been described as slightly non-conventional in the counselling world, which suits me perfectly, and also tends to suit the people I am working with. I am deeply caring, but I am also a straight shooter, and solution oriented. I strongly believe in the power of relationship (and humour), and I am open-minded and non-judgmental. I primarily use Narrative therapy, but I am trained in many modalities such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour therapy and more.
