Kindred Roots offers a space for healing that feels like home. Kindred Roots in Inglewood is a hub for teens, adults, couples, and families to get the support they need. Our YYC team, including Dom, Mariah, Sarah, Daphne, and Kat, practices on the belief that healing is a human experience, built on genuine connection and honest growth. That's why, at Kindred Roots, everyone is welcome and it's a come-as-you are environment. Wear your stilettos or your sweatpants. Swear, or keep it clean. At Kindred Roots, we don't think therapy should be intimidating and neither should your therapist.

I’m a registered social worker with a deep passion for clinical practice and frontline work. I believe healing and growth happens through connection and story. Life can be complex, messy, and beautifully imperfect, and I’m here to meet you exactly where you are at. Using a variety of approaches, I will offer interventions that are both compassionate and practical.

As a therapist, I am here to provide a different point of view, show up for you and listen without judgment. My therapy style is direct, human-centred, insightful, playful and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, particularly in the realm of disordered eating, relationship issues and trauma. If you are struggling in any of these areas and are ready to be challenged (while also being shown kindness), I am the therapist for you!

I support people who have spent much of their lives adapting, masking, over-functioning, shapeshifting, or carrying more than their share, and who are ready to understand themselves more deeply. You might be navigating trauma, burnout, ADHD, relationship challenges, or identity exploration. As a queer therapist, I offer a trans-affirming, 2SLGBTQI+ affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming space where you don’t have to explain or shrink parts of yourself. Together, we untangle what’s keeping you stuck and create space for healing, self-trust, and a more authentic way forward. I work with individuals, couples, and families.

Hi, I'm Mariah- a neurodivergent therapist who supports neurodivergent clients as well as those with anxiety, ocd, trauma, relationship concerns, and those who struggle to know where to start with “feeling their feelings.” My therapy style is grounded in compassion and offers support on a variety of levels.
