My approach to counselling is creative, gentle, hopeful, and liberatory. I believe in meeting each person where they are at & exploring imaginative ways of expressing and understanding ourselves (like play and art!). You can arrive exactly as you are - messy, tender, rageful, or whatever it may be. My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive, justice-oriented lens. This means I will attune to your individual experience, alongside how systemic forces we exist within impacts your life. Leaning into justice in counselling looks like working towards reclaiming power, disrupting oppressive narratives, and liberation alongside healing.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, specializing in children & youth. I am privileged to have supported mental health & development in children/youth for 10+ years. I love working with littles, but I also support the kids at heart (adults) too! I believe that play is deeply healing and a wonderful tool for exploring ourselves at any age.
My role as a client-centred, trauma-informed therapist is to create space for exploring, expanding, and nurturing your full self, offering safety, empowerment, solidarity, and joy along your journey. I am deeply invested in the ongoing work to dismantle my privilege, redistribute power, embody anti-oppression, and push towards collective liberation.
