I provide one-to-one counselling for youth and for adults, couples counselling and parenting education/supports. I also provide Neurofeedback Training/Therapy, for children, teens and adults. I offer a wide variety of Professional Development Trainings (CEC approved) for agencies/staff; and community-based workshops and Therapy Support Groups for the public. My passion is to empower people as they face challenges and grow as individuals - as they address the issues in their lives that might be holding them back from the happiness and contentment they wish to experience.
My areas of specialty include the provision of effective management strategies for people coping with Anxiety and Depression, Self Harm, Low Self Esteem, Relationship issues and Sleep Disturbance issues. I offer specialized supports for First Responders. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental counselling environment.
I have been in the counselling field for over 30 years, working with street gangs in Toronto, with isolated youth in remote northern Canada, and with youth/adults throughout Alberta. I believe in encouraging and empowering individuals to be agents of change in their own lives, as well as in the world around them.
