Hi! I’m Kim. I’m so glad you have found me here. I know that life experiences can impact us in unexpected ways. I truly believe that trauma is in the eye of the beholder so whatever you have experienced that is having a negative impact on you, I believe that it is valid. Counseling can help in processing experiences that have left an unwelcome impact on your emotions and day to day functioning. I have extensive experience working with those experiencing anxiety, struggling to manage stress, perinatal mental heath, perinatal loss and/or infertility.
I view my role as a counselor as someone to offer guidance; identifying goals that will help you achieve the changes you feel will benefit your life and relationships. I have both lived and professional experience in the area of ADHD and complex family dynamics. If faith is a part of your journey we can incorporate faith principals to our work.
Previous clients have described my approach as down to earth, compassionate and practical. We will tackle whatever challenges you feel are the most important that will have the most positive impact on your day to day life. I strive to create an empathetic and non-judgmental space with a strong belief the bests views come after the hardest climb.
