Hi! I’m Kim and I am so glad you have found me here. I know that life experiences can impact us in unexpected and unwanted ways. I work with both individuals and couples.
I truly believe that trauma is in the eye of the beholder; whatever it is you have experienced that is having a negative impact on you, I believe that it is valid. Counseling can help process experiences that have left an unwelcome impact on your emotions and day to day functioning. I have extensive experience working with people experiencing anxiety, struggling to manage stress, perinatal mental heath, perinatal loss, infertility and vicarious trama.
I view my role as a counselor as someone to offer guidance; identifying goals that will help you achieve the changes you feel will benefit your life and relationships. I have both lived and professional experience in the area of ADHD and complex family dynamics. If a Christian faith is a part of your journey we can include faith principals in our work.
