My work is in supporting people to improve and strengthen their relationships with others, and who are willing and interested to begin with nurturing their relationship with their own dear self. I support in parenting, step-parenting, not-parenting, care for self and others, feeling and knowing from emotions, building confidence, and journeying through grief and loss. I also work with people who are exploring their sense of belonging and well-being in the context of their relationship to colonization. I recognize that this is a long path, deeply benefited by being grounded in relationship. Also offering CBT-I for better sleep.
My style is eclectic, I've trained in several modalities so that our work can be tailored to suit your needs and your goals. As a therapist, I mirror, coach, witness, remind, and am always human. Modalities/topics we can explore together: EFT, CBT & CBT-I, ACT, IFS, Mindful Self-Compassion, assertive communication & boundaries, and nature-based therapy.
I fully appreciate that we're are often already at, or beyond, our threshold for stress by the time we reach out for support. I sincerely believe that honouring our need for connection - to be heard and seen - is in itself an act of resilience and I know it's a huge step.
