I use a systemic approach to working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I use a number of therapeutic strategies and models in my work with clients including, solution focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and mindfulness approaches. I have experience treating adults, children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, relationships, parenting practices, anger management, grief/loss, and separation and divorce. I also have experience and training in marital/couples counselling.
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work, with over 22 years of experience. I have experience conducting individual and group therapy within the school system and assessing the needs of children and adolescents. I work with parents, helping them through the challenges of parenting children and adolescents.
