A tree house has always meant a place to go; to think, talk, and work through everyday life trials and tribulations. It was a safe place to find peace and comfort. Let TreeHouse Therapy be that safe space for you to work through life’s challenges. As a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate, I am licensed to provide counselling services throughout Nova Scotia. I provide face-to-face counselling with children, parent(s)/caregiver(s) with child, adults, and couples. Therapy via Zoom and phone is also an option for adults and couples.
Using a trauma informed approach to therapy that is person-centred, I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices; such as, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Play Therapy, Theraplay, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to meet the needs of clients. I am a provider for the Safe and Sound Protocol.
I provide a warm, caring and genuine approach to therapy. My focus is on ensuring you feel heard, respected and valued. To accommodate children and busy schedules, I also offer some Saturdays.
