I am a doctoral psychologist specializing in acute and complex trauma, grief, cancer, and other stressors, losses, and crises (e.g., life transitions, meaninglessness, identity disturbance, existential distress, etc.). My approach integrates Jungian, psychodynamic, experiential-emotion focused, existential, and transpersonal therapies. I also specialize in psychedelic therapy, preparation, and integration (ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA). My stance is depth oriented—addressing the roots underlying symptoms, behaviours, and problems of living. I aim not only to symptom relief, but towards personality growth and self-transcendence.
I am an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, and an Associate Faculty member of St. Stephen's College, at the University of Alberta. I have taught a wide range of courses in the field of psychology, and currently teach graduate level courses on Psychopathology and Psychedelics, Spirituality, and Mental Health.
