I'm Kevin. I hope to support you to foster post-traumatic growth and resilience in the face of life's adversities. Specializing in queer-led trauma therapy, I am a registered social worker & registered clinical counsellor offering sessions online across BC. Many of the adults I work with have already done therapy. You may have learned coping skills, understand your triggers, and get through your day-to-day — but certain past experiences still feel unresolved. They show up in relationships, in your body, in moments that feel bigger than they “should.” That’s where our work begins.
I am an EMDRIA certified therapist and specialize in online EMDR therapy for adults, particularly from the LGBTQ2S+ community. People that align with my approach want to go beyond talk therapy and process specific memories or experiences that still feel stuck. I offer neurodivergent-affirming approaches, particularly for autistic folks and ADHDer/AuDHDRers.
Therapy is more than healing; it's about finding joy, understanding, empowerment and meaning in your life. Trauma, othering, isolation, and living as a minority brings unique stressors. Our work is in navigating through parts of your experience to make space for what's meaningful for you.
