About
The human experience is infinite in complexity, diversity and meaning. I understand that the nature of concerns bringing someone into therapy can be equally complex and is rarely as simple as a behaviour, diagnosis, relationship problem or a life event. I have over a decade of experience helping people to work through a range of concerns including: Relational issues, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder (CPTSD), and Bereavement/ Suicide bereavement. If any of these present a struggle in your life, I would be honoured to hear from you and work together towards finding some healthy, sustainable relief.
My training includes psychodynamic and narrative approaches, CFT, SFT, DBT and CBT. I see much of the work I do as connected to development and trauma. A significant part of that work is in helping people to move towards the life they want, by developing understanding, compassion and connection to emotions and sense of self.
Every individual seeking therapy will come with a unique set of needs and experiences. It is my hope to work together towards understanding how to meet those needs, to encourage growth and healing, and foster meaningful change and acceptance. Creative forms of communication such as art, writing or music are always welcome.
