I have a passion for helping people attain optimal mental health, thru improved coping with life stressors/experiences and also personal healing/growth. Basically, I want to help you (or your child) thrive! I have extensive training and experience with a broad range of issues and treatment modalities. I am certified with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the areas of Clinical & Counselling Psychology (both assessment & treatment) for Adults, Couples, Adolescents and Children. My approach is tailored for each unique client and also allows for the integration of spiritual issues into therapy when appropriate and desired.
As a clinical psychologist, I am comfortable working with clients whose problems or goals vary broadly in severity or scope. My empathic, supportive approach is combined with both symptom-focused and deeper interventions (including those of a psychodynamic and attachment-based nature) and is uniquely tailored to best benefit each client's needs and goals.
I provide therapy from a variety of client-centered methods, including Emotion-Focused Therapy/EFT for individuals or couples and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy/CBT. I also conduct Psychological Assessments, including those related to school, work, and disability applications. Together we'll chose the best approach for you :)
