Do you find it hard to discover and honour your strengths in the midst of obstacles? I possess particular knowledge and experience in infant, child, and adolescent mental health and development. I am passionate about enhancing mental wellness by providing children, youth, parents, and families with support and strategies to maintain optimal family functioning and parent-child relationships. I have gained extensive experience treating anxiety and related disorders, emotion regulation challenges, depression, OCD, self-esteem concerns, ADHD, relationship difficulties, self-harming behaviour and traumatic stress.
My practice is informed by attachment, development, and trauma-based approaches. My training and experience comprises the frameworks of CBT, DBT, Interpersonal Therapy, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. I have also gained specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
I strive to pay special attention to the nourishment of the therapeutic relationship by demonstrating a warm, compassionate demeanour. I utilize a collaborative, strengths-based approach that fits the desired outcomes of the individual and is geared toward helping individuals discover and honour their own strengths and abilities in the midst of obstacles.
